We are actively recruiting motivated, creative individuals to join us at the University at Albany, SUNY. We welcome diverse backgrounds, from computational biology and bioinformatics to biomedical science and public health.
Ph.D. Students
We are seeking highly motivated Ph.D. students interested in computational genomics, AI for biomedical imaging, and infectious disease biology. Students can apply through University at Albany graduate programs in Biomedical Sciences, Bioinformatics, and related disciplines.
Strong quantitative background preferred
Experience with Python or R required
Curiosity and enthusiasm required
Postdoctoral Fellows
We seek postdoctoral candidates with expertise in bioinformatics, machine learning, spatial transcriptomics, single-cell genomics, or infectious disease biology. Strong programming skills (Python and/or R) and experience with large-scale genomic datasets are expected.
Ph.D. in relevant field
Track record of peer-reviewed publications
Interest in collaborative, interdisciplinary work
Undergraduate Researchers
Motivated undergraduate students eager to gain hands-on research experience in computational biology, genomics, and biomedical data analysis are welcome to reach out. We provide mentored research opportunities aligned with ongoing lab projects.

Visiting Scholars
We welcome visiting scholars, faculty, and international researchers interested in short- or long-term collaborations. Visiting scholars will engage with active lab projects and may co-develop new directions in computational genomics, biomedical imaging, or infectious disease biology.
